[Determined Battle]

Very good.

Epic battle music is always fun. And I like how you incorporated the metal influence into it. Very well composed, and I particularly like the transitional chord progressions, and the triplet transitions. The only thing I thought could use improvement has nothing to do with the composition itself. I just feel like the drums could use a little more "beef". Maybe bring the kick out a little more. I understand the piano is what drives the song, and that this song is meant for being in the background. But as a song by itself, I think a thicker/heavier foundation would compliment it a little better. Either way, I enjoyed it!

P.S. Reminds me of Dragonforce. Did you record the guitar?

I agree completely with you Matt. The drums could certainly be more beefy! My mixing skills are still sub parr and I have been trying to improve them. As far as the guitar, I used direct line in with guitar rig.

yes i am! since i just started getting good at making music... but the problem is that i only have like 5 tracks to put on it ... i want a solid 10-12... idk what im gonna do with it then.. probably put it on band camp and then market myself on youtube.. idk

MAN this song makes me sick.

Ah man, I just puked all over the keyboard. There's chunks stuck between the keys, and it smells horrible. I think there was a little blood in there. What did I eat? Something with ham. It's already thickening, and my fingertips are starting to stick to the keys. My nostrils are burning. Even if I clean this up with a hot rag, the chunks will still be stuck in between the keys. Maybe I'll get a toothpick. I should probably take a shower too. It's just everywhere. All over the wall, the monitor, I can hardly even read what I'm writing through the yellow film that's starting to crust over it. I'll have to take a knife and scratch it off. And I should probably brush my teeth, because I can feel the stomach acid eating away at them. Or maybe I'll just leave it all to remind myself how much this song SUCKS.

I actually like this song more each time I hear it. I really like the harmonies in the chorus. This song could actually sound really awesome with upbeat pop/rock music under it. We should do a remix, haha. But seriously.

it sucks that this got zero bombed...this totally had potential for top 5 i think... very cinematic... one of the only ambient song i've ever really enjoyed(i hear of lot crap ambient on the site)...are u making the film or some1 just recruit u for music? when are those albums coming out? keep me posted man

I'm honored to be promoted! Thanks man! I'll do the same for you next time I post a song. Anyway, as usual, great job. I think you've finally hit that point where you don't have to worry about writing a bad song. The last several songs of yours have been excellent, and I haven't really had anything negative to say about them. You've found your sound it seems. I feel like I'm hearing the same synth used in multiple songs, but it sounds good, and if it's a preset you made yourself, then keep using it. It's working. And good luck, I hope you find your way to the front!

Wow dude.

I LOVE how it starts out calm and peaceful, and just straight up ambient. And then towards the end, that sick, evil bassline drops in out of nowhere. Dude, that made the song for me. This is definitely my fav so far. The end reminds me of Metroid in a way. Excellent job on this one, man. You've officially found your way on to my iPod (:

Well,

You may have changed the title, but I can see both. I can see "that" kid, walking home at night through the snow, with his true colors showing, but as he walks, the beauty and peacefulness of the snow makes him appreciate life for what it is. Anyway, I could probably write a novel based off the things I imagine when listening to music, so I'll just stop, haha. Good song. I really like this one. Ambient is probably my favorite genre to listen to. And you did a swell job.
