The beginning reminds me of something that would've been on my first album, haha. I have a nostalgic love for such things. Anyway, it's always good hearing your darker, sadder side. I love that side of everybody (: Honestly, I feel like it's the negative emotions that inspire us the most to create something beautiful. And the song really comes into its own at the end. I really liked what the piano was doing, and how the guitar drove the song to its finish. I approve.

P.S. Hurry up and finish that dark song before I crap myself!

lol it mite be a while... im remixing a song for my brother, sister, and mom(lol) for their birthdays which all happen to be in july... i mite do it as a side project while im remixing those songs... but my deadline is coming closer and closer! and im still not done with my first remix!... and then cross country is starting nxt week... lol this may take a while ...

Good stuff

The only thing I didn't particularly like was the drums. I feel like they could be a little more involved, and more dynamic. But everything else - especially the guitar work - was phenomenal. I really enjoyed it. Excellent job.

I like the dark mood this song sets. And it was interesting enough to make listen to the whole song. Good work.

I like how happy it is, yet it has that one evil chord, giving it a kinda fighting, determined sound. Like a Medieval quest on Molly, haha. I really dig it though. VERY, very catchy. Nothing really for me to criticize, I think this is a very professional piece. Excellent work!

Energetic, and driving

I really like the mixture of the lead and the bassline. They fit together in a strange way. When the lead first came in, it wasn't what I expected to hear, which is almost always a good thing. I enjoy music that takes its own direction. It usually ends up somewhere interesting. And I think you did an excellent job with this one. Good work!

Mmm... sadness. My favorite.

I like that for some songs, you include a little mental picture to ponder while listening. It adds uniquity, and gives character to the song. The two go together quite well. I also particularly like the softness. Beautiful work.

Impressive!

That's awesome you got this song to be performed; what a privilege! It sounds very professional as far as composition, and it doesn't sound half bad for being created synthetically. Good work!

[Determined Battle]

Very good.

Epic battle music is always fun. And I like how you incorporated the metal influence into it. Very well composed, and I particularly like the transitional chord progressions, and the triplet transitions. The only thing I thought could use improvement has nothing to do with the composition itself. I just feel like the drums could use a little more "beef". Maybe bring the kick out a little more. I understand the piano is what drives the song, and that this song is meant for being in the background. But as a song by itself, I think a thicker/heavier foundation would compliment it a little better. Either way, I enjoyed it!

P.S. Reminds me of Dragonforce. Did you record the guitar?

I agree completely with you Matt. The drums could certainly be more beefy! My mixing skills are still sub parr and I have been trying to improve them. As far as the guitar, I used direct line in with guitar rig.
